What I Should Have Said 12-5-15

P. 83 convictions amend step 9.

If I have a conviction then I should make sure that I hold to it…but not that I judge others in whether they are living up to my conviction.  If I believe in Church on Sunday morning, Sunday night, Tuesday night, and Wednesday night…then I should do my best to make those times and live up to that.  The best way to have someone else adopt my conviction is to start living it…to be an example.  Also reminds me of the Spurgeon quote about laying a straight stick next to a crooked one…sometimes this is the best I can do…I cannot fix alot of my past but I can put a new “straight stick” next to the “crooked stick” of my past…in other words I can make a living amend.
