Since the first of us got here some of us have been involved in the construction of the camp, including the all important toilets. The camp is situated in and around an old train station, which has kindly been lent to us. There are currently 300 people here, not bad for the beginning of the week. As well as ” kitchens, there is a on site bakery and showers.
A number of Sans Papiers have been visitig us, as well as plenty of interested locals. Bike tours around the city, visiting places of interest have taken place including the squatted monastery, occupied by more than 150 Sans Papiers Picture below.
Police profile has so far been low, but the demos don t start properly till tomorrow.
