Community orchard – volunteers workday at Royate Hill
Apr 1 @ 11:00 am – 4:15 pm

The 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month from 11am to 4pm (or 5pm in summer).  Bi-weekly volunteer workdays at Royate Hill Community Orchard & allotment. Located off Royate Hill, Easton BS5. For background info read this – Royate_history_info

Royate_map&textWear old clothes. We stop for a vegan lunch about 1.30pm and welcome food brought along to share.

The community orchard operates according to permaculture principles (to the best of our ability) – we learn as we go along so come along and learn with us. No experience is necessary!

For more info, other workshops (pruning, grafting etc), group visits etc please contact Mike Feingold on 07768915423.

What if it rains? We keep working in light rain; during heavy showers we retreat to the greenhouse and roundhouse; if rain is continually heavy we abandon the workday as the slippery slopes of the land makes it unsafe.
