More than just gardening…

The Kebele Permaculture Collective arose out of the early 2007 Bristol Permaculture course. We are interested in the social and organisational aspects of permaculture as well as the gardening.

As there is no garden at Kebele, we had to search further afield for arable space, and we now work with the Royate Hill Community Orchard, where we have erected a lovely shed (donated by Shambala Festival), greenhouse, roundhouse, compost loo etc and continue to experiment with the somewhat challenging terrain. See this pdf for Royate_history_info.

We also host Sunday cafes, on an irregular basis, usually screening films about environmental issues.

The 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month at the Royate Hill Community Orchard, from around 11am until 4pm

PLEASE NOTE – as of 2015 the Permaculture Collective no longer exists as 90% of the people involved no longer live in Bristol. However a few of us still help out at the Royate Hill Community Orchard & allotment on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month (and sometimes at other times) – all are welcome at the workdays! See the map for more info or ring Mike Feingold on 07768915423.
