No tears will be shed for the departure of Martin McQuillan, probably the worst of the SMT following the ousting of Clueless Julius Weinberg last year. Queasy has stated that he is leaving for personal reasons. Perhaps this is true. Or has the BoG recognised his incompetence, as they did with Eales-Reynolds? Any readers know?

Pingback: Martin McQuillan’s embezzlement of £200,000 of research money hushed up by the Kingston University SMT – Kingston University Scandal
He was pushed out because he was found to have been embezzling thousands of pounds of research money. FASS finance officer Christine Bradley had been aware he was fiddling the books, which was why he got rid of her. His own departure involved both sides signing non-disclosure agreements.
Naturally, KU senior management chose to brush the whole business under the carpet instead of having him arrested, as a more honest and lawful management would have done.
Can anyone corroborate this?
Are you able to prove the allegations in any way? I sent an FOI to the university but no one has responded yet.
Financial misconduct is well established now, despite management keeping very quiet. Needless to say, they will hide behind some clause or other in any FOI request.
