Anyone who has seen Coope Boyes & Simpson will know what wonderful singers they are. Their shows and albums are full of great political songs. Their latest album – In Flanders Field – is comprised of songs about World War 1, both songs of the time and songs written since. You can hear one track on this video where it accompanies a ‘flick-through’ of the recently published comic-book anthology ‘To End All Wars’ (not the Adam Hochschild book!)
Coope Boyes & Simpson are appearing at the Folk House in Park Street on Sunday September 14th. You can get tickets by calling at the Folk House or phoning the Folk House on 0117 9262987
