Recently the Arizona State University Police Department Command were Embarrassed Internationally During the IACLEA 2016 Conference. Iaclea 2016 Conference

ASUPD shouldn’t be a part of IACLEA. Look at what the IACLEA’s own president said about police officer staffing! Video on the facts

The dastardly culprits decided to send this email explaining how they came by the information. Perhaps they are worried about ASUPD reaching out to their overtime cronies at AZDPS to do another CRIMINAL investigation on randomly picked ASU Police Employees. Whatever the case we thoroughly enjoyed their creation BRAVO!

Keep up the good work!

*After seeing the news conference with the former officers in the lawsuit and especially the details of the following video we decided to update this post. Thank you to the contributors.

OMG!! Hahahahah!! Epic fail ASUPD and IACLEA!! Way to get totally embarrassed as the host of your own conference!! Absolutely brilliant on whoever did this. ASUPD now is the laughing stock of the college law enforcement community internationally, not just locally!! Yes!!

  2. smokey261 says:

Awesome tool for exposure. How does ASU PD even qualify for IACLEA? It can’t staff a police department to patrol the campuses with a little over half the recommended amount of police officers. More and more quiting than can be quickly replaced, but IACLEA wants to hold them up as a model agency?!? How much money are they paying IACLEA?

    • WheresMy907 says:

Frankly, I don’t care what another dog and Pony show accreditation group thinks about the department. What I want to know is what azpost is going to say when all the integrity issues get exposed with command and their lackeys.

    • ImJohnDoe says:

The problem is, AZPOST does not conduct investigations. They take information given them by Police Agencies and hold it up to POST standards to determine if an officer’s actions violated the standards.

In this case, there is no agency investigation to send to POST. Unless the AG’s Office gets involved and conducts an actual Adminstrative Investigation, and sends it to POST, POST will never do anything with these guys.

    • yurhuckleberry says:

@ ImJohnDoe you’re correct. They will be exposed. They only have the comfort of their naively held beliefs about their own legal security.

    • yolo says:

ASUPD doesn’t truthfully qualify for IACLEA based on the IACLEA president talking on the news about the catastrophicly low officer staffing levels at ASUPD. Nothing has changed! The department is nowhere near necessary staffing. 5 officers in a month gone, read it and weep, the truth hurts.

    • theintegrityreport says:

It is either a legitimate enterprise with standards for it’s membership or just another money making enterprise where anyone can be a part of it as long as the check clears. ASUPD’s check cleared, so maybe that wrapped up validation? A closer inspection of ASUPD will give IACLEA the necessary information to make an accurate assessment. Being able to staff a police department should be a requirement for IACLEA.

  3. DL500unit says:

Overwhelming embarrassment. All those administrators and the people they share the information with are looking at the history of ASUPD on the blog. This was a brilliant strategic move.

    • RUkiddingMe says:

Embarrassment unnerves these scared little men. Reality is much worse, but they have always had a hard time understanding it.

  4. RUkiddingMe says:

I can see command trying to misinterpret ARS desperately digging for something to claim as criminal. They are the criminals. They think and act like criminals in the workplace. They will think and act like criminals in the courtroom. The scrutiny will steadily increase and they will be unable to contain it. Everyone at the conference knows about asupd, but this will be nothing once more pressing issues emerge for the public to see.

People are talking about what they know and myself and others are passing this on to the plaintiffs. I swore an oath before God to the people of this nation and this state. I will honor it and see this through. God bless my brothers who still live with honor because we are nothing without it.

    • WheresMy907 says:

Their petty attempts to subvert another person’s 1st amendment rights are more proof of their fear, pride, and how little they understand. This whole thing will be and I opener for them. They can’t even stand it when people criticize them, so they are completely unprepared for the truth being exposed.

    • yolo says:

I’m not surprised. They are anti-American assholes. They threaten, intimidate, and silence critics. Except for all the people on here and the people suing them and all the former employees talking ending shit about the single largest law enforcement joke in Arizona. Embarrassing.

In the post 911 era with international terrorism on the rise it would be wise to consider the potential implications of broadcasting to the world that 100’s of law enforcement leadership are going to be in one location, most likely unarmed because they flew in, and at a meeting with publicized locations and dates.

Believe me, the Arizona State University Police Department was in no position to protect the law enforcement leadership at this conference when it can barely staff an officer for each shift on each campus. This was a public relation stunt equivalent to gilding a dog pile.

  6. ASUPD Fail says:

Glad I left this place many years ago. ASU PD is a disgrace and embarrassment to the law enforcement community.

  7. getitright says:

A friend who used to work at another department with one of the attendees asked him how the convention was. He was told that he enjoyed his time there, meeting other professionals, but that the ASU leadership had “poker tells” and “seemed disingenuous”. He showed them the blog videos you guys posted and said he thinks the Tempe station is bugged.

We have received some very interesting comments, but they requested privacy. Thank you for the information!

    • guerriero says:

I’m sure they are under a lot of pressure now that they realize the lies they tell only get them so far.

  8. OneFlewOverTheCuckoo'sPD says:

What an embarrassment Chief Mike Thompson and his command are.

I can’t wait for the high-profile trial to begin so we can publicly expose the criminal elements of ASUPD.

  9. ImJohnDoe says:

So if this is the follow up email, where is the original email that is referenced in the opening sentence? I’d like to see that one.

  10. yolo says:

They created the workplace and people are returning the favor. I just watched the news broadcast and everyone presented well. The university won’t be able to ignore all the issues. The fault for these issues and all the fallout from them rests on the shoulders of former and current asu police management. 100% corrupt and 85-95% incompetent.

    • guerriero says:

100% on target. If the ASU police command and their groupies are willing to fraudulently deceive the federal government on crime statistics, what aren’t they willing to do?

  12. Semper Fidelis says:

It’s actually quite shocking that ASUPD would be an integral player during the IACLEA conference, considering its abysmal leadership.

Chief Thompson and his command staff are the joke of legitimate law enforcement agencies worldwide.

Nice job in destroying our credibility in the eyes of the law enforcement community, gents.
