We’ve been extremely busy as usual so mail outs have been few and far between, so here’s a quick update on what’s happening at Pumpkin….
RELEASES:
We have 2 brand new releases out in the coming weeks. Firstly DISCO//OSLO’s debut album will be released by Pumpkin on Wed 30th May. Expect 14 tracks of anthemic punk rock in vein of Leatherface.This release will be on 12″ with download code, we like doing things thins way so you get the best of both! For anyone who hasn’t heard DISCO//OSLO please check them out, we have been friends of the band for years with their previous projects, and highly recommend them! Catch them on tour with Autonomads starting today around the UK! The album release gig is also a benefit for Greek political prisoners. Check the link for information:

The next release will be BrainDead’s new 7″. This is something we’ve been looking forward to for a while, after putting out their latest album ‘Weapons Of The Weak’ they have taken this 7″ in a ‘rub a dub style’ taking a track from the album and smothering it in delay, reverb and dirty punky dub. Not only are both tracks great dub tracks in their own right, but the package is too! They have opted for a Trojan style sticker and the 7″ comes in a brown paper bag, it looks the part and sounds the part! Tracks are ‘Dub Of Transgression’ and ‘Dub Comes Due’, released June 3rd.
Pre-orders for all of our releases are up on our store, all pre-orders come with patches as always and free postage.

GIGS:
As we mentioned before, DISCO//OSLO are coming to the UK to tour with Manchester’s Autonomads, gigs all over in Sheffield, Manchester, Bristol, Brighton and London, check this Facebook event for ful details:

From The Cradle To The Rave are also heading out at the same time on their anti-jubilee tour with 90’s rave pop mad men [Pop]ulation. Expect both bands to make you dance you legs clean off with their 100mph dance, drum and bass with raging punk overtones. Again see this event for more info:

STUDIO:
Our recording studio is full to the brim! Been working 5 days a week for months, which is great as we now have spent £2000 on new equipment including an SE Z5600a II, new Saffire interface, various microphones, stands, plug ins and more! Bands we’ve had ion lately include global Parasite, Dead Subverts, This Is How We Fall, Epic Problem and more.
Rates are just £50 per day or £200 per week, so pretty cheap really
