The official campsite for this years Dirty Weekend festival will be on the fields of Bryn-Y-Grog Hall, off the A525, Marchwiel, Wrexham LL130SR
Please note you are allowed to drive onto the camping field and pitch your tent next to your vehicle (no long walks lugging gear and beer)
Camping stoves are permitted however there are NO FIRES ALLOWED,people lighting fires will be asked to leave.
There is drinking water , a toilet block (proper wood cabin type thing not a portaloo) we have also arranged for a vegan/veggie catering van to be on site and there is also a village shop about a mile away.
In the opposite direction towards town and only 4 mins drive away (about a mile) there is a Lidl supermarket.
Town is only 10 minute taxi ride/20 minute walk and there is a bus stop 200 yards away.
There is also a carboot sale in the opposite field on the sunday selling the usual stuff with a burger van selling egg/bacon butties etc for those that want them.

BUS SERVICE- opporated by GHA coaches ,number 146 (whitchurch) and run from the center of town stand 2.
The Campsite bus stop run at 28 mins past the hour from 07.28hrs-22.28hrs FRIDAY/SATURDAY please note there are only 2 bus services on SUNDAY running into town these are at 11.33 and 13.33 and take you directly into the center of town.

TRAIN TRAVEL- There are two railway stations in Wrexham ,General and Central, both are just a short walk into town ,however if you intend to stay at the campsite i would suggest using Wrexham General as there is a taxi rank located at the station.

TRAVELLING BY CAR
Wrexham has good road links and is easy to get to just follow signposts to Wrexham and then as you come along the A483
(For the campsite) follow the signpost for Gresford/Wrexham industrial estate then immidiately follow the A525 (Whitchurch) signs.As you come into the village of Marchwiel look out for the D.W.2012 signs pointing you to the campsite entrance.
(for the venue) Same as above but when come into wrexham look out for signposts for waterworld (cheapest/largest car park)The venue is only a short walk away.

CAR PARKING-cheapest parking is at waterworld car park, LL138BG £3 for over three hours and then 50p from 6pm to midnight.(There are no barriers so you wont get locked in)

Camping will cost £7 per person for the full weekend. ADVANCE TICKETS ONLY!!!!!! There will be none available on the day!

You will be able to book your camping spot for the weekend as a package with your Dirty Weekend ticket. So as soon as weve got it all sorted out we will announce how you can buy your tickets on here. Watch this space! Were all gettin very excited!
