Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) shoots down Turkish military helicopter

Partisans from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) blew a Turkish military attack helicopter out of the sky yesterday in Northern Kurdistan (The Iraqi occupied area of Kurdistan). The fascist Turkish state claimed that it went down due to a technical fault. PKK had proof that is a lie, PKK had video footage of the whole thing.

Resistance to Turkish state fascism will continue unless the Turkish state ceases aid to Daesh and unless they cease attacks on Kurdish partisans and civilians in occupied North Kurdistan.

Video showing thousands of PKK partisans crossing from Qandil into Iraqi occupied North Kurdistan:

We are not what you think we are

Anarchists call us anarchists, Marxist-Leninists call us Marxist-Leninists and the list is endless. We, the Kurdish socialist resistance, are none of these things. We are socialists but we have our own take on socialism rooted in our experiences and culture. We reserve our right to have our own take on socialism.

We appreciate support from all sections of socialism but I can not help but think some have their own agenda. Labeling us as what you think we are based on your own fantasy is nothing short of chauvinism and imperialism.

Of course we have partisans fighting in the YPG/YPJ and other armed socialist Kurdish groups who are anarchists, Marxist-Leninists and other tendencies. As a whole though our movement is based on our own take of socialism, let us have that or leave us alone.
