General Dynamics manufactures GD 883 engine for Israel’s Merkava4 battle tanks, which are used in Occupied Territories; and equipment for MK-84 “general purpose” bombs, which are used in the assaults on Gaza.
General Dynamics distributes Controp Precision Technologies systems in the US:
Controp manufactures electro-optical intrusion detection systems. Their SPIDER system is used by the Israeli army in surveillance centers along the West Bank wall and around the Gaza strip, including detection of swimmers at the coast of Gaza. The system is also used for surveillance throughout East Jerusalem’s Old City.
According to publications in the Israeli press cameras of the company are installed in UAVs which are manufactured by Elbit systems. These UAVs are used by combat units of the Israeli Army in the West Bank and Gaza strip.
Additionally, the company is involved in a joint project with Tomcar and Elbit systems, developing unmanned vehicles for military purposes.
