Next Tuesday, 12th January, marks Debbie Vincent‘s birthday! In April 2014, Debbie was sentenced to six years in prison followed by a five year ASBO for “conspiracy to blackmail,” in relation to the campaign to close down the notorious animal testing lab Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Over in Sweden it’s Joel Almgren’s birthday on 19th January. Joel is currently serving a sentence of 5 years and 6 months for defending a local community-organized anti-racist demonstration in the Kärrtorp area of Stockholm against a brutal nazi-attack on the 15th of December 2013.
