What I Should Have Said 12-30-2015

Gratitude…work…anonymity…11.13 room…realizing what 12.31 is. Seek 1st the kingdom of God.

First before this topic…what was on my mind while driving.  I have alot of teachers in my life two where on my mind while driving.   They probably (and none of the others either) even have any idea they are my teachers above a type of role they play or duty they have because of our relative positions.  It is mostly symbolic to them….but for me it is on a deeper level…and I think when we become this kind of student we can begin to learn…but first be humble and teachable.  If we haven’t even started to be humble or teachable…we will never see these teachers in our lives.  They are more like a sifu or a master.

Alot these days when I think of gratitude I think of even being able to work…even being able to see…even being able to hear…even being alive.  I think when we develop this attitude and thank God for the beginning day and for the day we just had at then end we begin to have a more heartfelt prayer and thankfulness.

I cannot right now remember what 11.13 room was supposed to remind me of…but I do know this number is everywhere…recently I noticed it hiding in the number 1.41 being 1.30 + 0.11.

Realizing what 12/31 each year is after the transition from 2012 to 2013…well I almost died (I think) from a seizure…I think being active in sports during high school and kung fu later is what helped my heart to survive it.  There should have been no great wonder since 2013 why I’m a little reflective on this date now.

Part of our Church theme for the year is seek first the kingdom of God…

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

We should seek God and be about our Father’s work first…let Him care for us and provide for us as he does the birds….Looking back I can see how He was always at work in my life…I don’t have much money right now…never did…but he helped set up so many things for me that are providing for me…and there is no way I can take credit for any of them.
