When they first called her in to get rid of Errol Hendriks, the smell of her imitation, cheap perfume filled the air. It lingered after she left. It was a tell tale sign that the cowardly management of Nebula were plotting their next salary savings scheme. The air at Nebula was regularly was filled with the smell of Fatima van Toorn.
Fatima van Toorn is a “Human Resources Consultant”. Her job is to “solve problems” for companies like Nebula who desperately need to save money or face bankruptcy. Companies like Nebula call her in to do the dirty work of handling HR dismissal cases.
Most respectable companies don’t need to hire “assassins” to get rid of their staff, respectable companies engage in discussions with their staff where they try to understand circumstances and predicaments and genuinely try to avoid dismissal or retrenchments.
Aaaah, but not the managers of Nebula. Their sinister plot was to get rid of staff – however, because their HR manager was an American imbecile, they had no choice but to call in the evil van Toorn to get the job done.
van Toorn was raised in the predominately lower class, Portuguese suburb of Goodwood, in Cape Town. She is the second oldest of four children.
She’s an awful human being so its not surprising that she’s divorced, and word has it that her kids hate her as much as the innocent that she tosses to the pavement.
Bottom line – this thing is a bottom feeder. Stay away.
