Class War and others are on form on Cable Street recently. This is not an anti-fascist event as the historic location would usually suggest but it is against a so-called Jack the Ripper “museum”. This is not historical interest, that would be legitimate (In which case buy a book, look up archives or use some other research method), it is sick voyeurism and murder porn. It is making a spectacle out of the murder of women in general and working-class women specifically. It is also making a spectacle out of the murder of sex workers who now as well as then are regularly abused, raped, violently assaulted in other ways, humiliated, verbally abused and murdered. It is being opened by some sick rich arsehole and needs shutting down now!
