Anyone who’s been awake in the UK these last few weeks will have seen, heard and smelt the stink kicked up by the revelations of what’s been going on at News International – hacking the phones of dead school girls and soldiers, the PMs mate being carted off by coppers, the coppers turning out to corrupt, Murdoch flying in to sort it all out and ending up losing his takeover bid and, of course, The News of The World printing the last of it’s hate filled, narrow minded corporate driven issues. All of which has just proved what a lot of us already knew about the big business news industry, the cops and how politicians turn a blind eye.
But just when you think The NOTW is dead and buried, it’s back! It’s been taken over by a very different team with a very different outlook admittedly, but the News of The World lives again! Full of in-your-face, rabble rousing stuff, it’s a good read so check it out here.
