Durham Linux User Group are hosting a cryptoparty for users of all kinds of computers. We’ll be able to support people using Linux better than we can other operating systems, but this event is free and public: you don’t have to be a Linux user to come along. Our aim is to put basic cryptographic tools in everyone’s hands. Bring your own device.
We’ve kindly been offered the use of a room for the evening by our friends at DARC. We need to make sure that we don’t overcrowd the place, which is the sole reason for asking you to book a space if you want to come. You can use a disposable email address and be as anonymous as you like, as long as you reserve yourself a space.
Note that this is a public event and the venue has CCTV security cameras. This website will not record your IP address.
