Over the past hunting season we have consistently filmed the Warwickshire Hunt hunting and chasing foxes. The Warwickshire Hunt like to claim that their hounds “accidentally” get onto the scent of real foxes. However the regularity with which we see foxes being chased at the Warwickshire Hunt suggests that they are either very accident prone or using “trail hunting” as an excuse to hunt real foxes.

We are currently campaigning to get the National Trust to ban the Warwickshire Hunt from using it’s land and properties to host hunt meets. The Warwickshire regularly meet at the National Trusts Farnborough Hall and meet at the National Trusts Upton House on their boxing day meet.

Apart from all the foxes we see being hunted we have also come across blocked badger setts with hoof prints all over them and terrier-men close by. The National Trust have themselves stated that there is no place on a “trail hunt” for terrier-men.

Please contact the National Trust and ask them not to give the Warwickshire Hunt any more licenses given the sheer number of foxes witnessed being chased by this hunt how can they guarantee they wont chase foxes whilst on National Trust land.

The National trust can be contacted at enquiries@nationaltrust.org.uk or 0344 800 1895 or visit https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/contact-us
