We need to be watching.

The date has been set. Next Wednesday, 30th May, the UK Supreme Court will be handing down the judgement of the Assange v The Swedish Judicial Authority case.

This day will be an important turn in the Wikileaks narrative. We need to remember an important Wikileaks lesson- people and systems act with more integrity when scrutiny is visible. Whatever the outcome next Wednesday Julian Assange and, via him, Wikileaks are facing a monumental battle for freedom on our behalf. In whatever way we are able we need to be there, watching, taking note.

Details of meet-ups (so far) are as follows:

Gatherers will be meeting from 7:30am-8am outside the UK Supreme Court. Judgement will be expected 9:15am.

You can visit the UK Supreme Court website to find out how to get there.

You should also check the here to find out about getting access to the courtroom for the judgement and the Supreme Courts arrangement for showing the judgement via visual feed.

Sky news will be showing the judgement live here.

We will keep you updated about shared and collective resources for showing your support, but a good start would be to print off your ‘I AM JULIAN ASSANGE’ face mask: https://ffmfowl.wordpress.com/demo_kit/julian-assange-mask/

Make sure you keep yourself updated with the FACTS of the case and correct any smears or inaccuracies. You can find out more over at WL Central.

If you can’t make it to London, there are plenty of other ways you can support.

Keep Wikileaks and the case against Julian a talking point- we need to show we are watching. Talk about it, tweet it, write about.

Write to your MP or use the template letter provided here to write to Nick Clegg and let them know why this is a case that affects us all.

You can also donate to Wikileaks and/or the Julian defense fund here.

Oh, and you need to sign up to Friends of Wikileaks which you can do here. If you need a reminder why, then check out here.
