After some requests for the original “high noon” email that had ASUPD command on suicide watch here it is. This was originally posted in comments, but not published in comments. Thank you Ted for joining this growing insurgency for justice by putting together this treasure trove of information we were previously not aware of.
Despite our knowledge of the corrupt inner workings of ASU Police Dept, we were somewhat surprised about the depravity tolerated, protected, and by default sanctioned by the Arizona State University administration.
There will be posts about the inexcusable Arizona State University War on Women!
HERE’S THE EMAIL:

Dear Law Enforcement Professional,
Thank you for attending the 2016 International Association of College Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) conference, hosted by the Arizona State University Police Department (ASU PD).
ASU PD was recently featured in a fun news story related to their hosting of the IACLEA conference. Please check out the links below for more information on Arizona State University and its Police Department and how both exude the highest qualities of professionalism and excellence under the “New American University Model.”

Unfortunately the university has a pattern of ignoring all kinds of issues. It’s easier for them to save face by paying people for their silence than to address those issues.
Petition the Feds to become involved and make an example of ASU as the example of what not to do. The ASU POLICE was once the example of what not to do regionally throughout Arizona. Now it serves as an example of what not to do internationally.
The Feds will do nothing. Don’t forget that there is a member of ASU PD working on a secret squirrel federal task force. I won’t name, names because it will just give ASU more ammo to make up reasons for a bs investigation. Plus don’t forget there is a certain K-9 that is funded by federal money. However, I guess if it gets bad enough MAYBE the feds will raid ASU PD like they did Pickens last department, the Northern Illinois University… 14+ years after he left and they are still dealing with the aftermath of his corruption: http://www.daily-chronicle.com/2016/03/08/is-fbi-investigation-into-niu-police-over/a5me783/
They need a serious correction. It’s actually worse under Thompson than it was with Pickens. Even useless corrupt Pickens didn’t have 5 officers leave in a month! Morale is in the toilet.
They are paying former ASU Police Chief John Pickens 150K to sit silently in a office as part of their in house witness protection program.
They are more interested in silencing the people who are actual legitimate victims than addressing the problems of public safety and human resource management. This is a luxury of government sloths, corruption, the luxury of being accountable to nobody.
Why is it so difficult for people to treat others the way they want themselves or their family treated? Why is so difficult for people to do right and not do wrong?
I once expected more from the university management and I certainly expected more from other officers within a police department. The management of this department sapped the soul out of it and left it a perpetual stagnant mess. For the sake of the public it needs to be corrected.
These guys are scandalous beyond belief. Unbelievable.
Reading some of the transcripts was disturbing, specifically Michael Crow’s and Kevin Salcido’s smug and curt responses to serious queries.
ASU PD are going to be scrambling faster than a rat trying to escape a dumpster fire when the Feds raid them. The FBI despite its local connections to ASU can only do nothing for so long. If they can show up for Ferrin giving a professor a Hulk Hogan suplex they cab show up for Thompson and his continuing web of bullshit and lies. I hope these command staff assholes go to prison after all the criminal shit they have done!!
While they are being raided by the feds, they will still be concerned about staying in IACLEA and putting pretty accreditation stickers on cars. It’s how they function.
All eyes will be focused on the mess they created sooner or later. People are fed up and not going to take it.
Outstanding factual blast. It’s surprising how a group of doctorate holding professionals don’t deal with the facts very well. Maybe that’s because they are allowed to fudge them in the public sector.
